Privacy
Rellio makes short links, generates vector QR codes, and counts opens. This page states exactly what data is stored and what is never collected.
No third-party analytics scripts, advertising networks, or cross-site cookies.
Opens are grouped into social, search, direct, or other without storing full referrer URLs.
Deleting a link in your workspace removes its short code and counter right away.
What a guest link stores
- The destination address you pasted and the seven-character short code generated for it.
- The total open count and a broad referrer category for each open: social network, search engine, direct, or other.
- The expiration date, when one is configured.
- Your IP address is used strictly in a temporary rate-limit window (up to 10 guest links per hour) and is never attached to the short link itself.
What an account adds
- Your display name and email address.
- A bcrypt-hashed password. Plaintext passwords are never stored or logged.
- Ownership records linking the short codes you create while signed in to your workspace.
What Rellio does not do
- No advertising, no third-party analytics, no tracking pixels, and no data brokers.
- No selling or sharing of your links, counters, or account details with third parties.
- No tracking cookies. Workspace sessions use a token in local storage that is cleared the moment you sign out.
Deleting links and accounts
Deleting a link in the dashboard removes the record and its counter from the database immediately; the short code stops resolving at once. To request full account deletion, contact us at the address below.
Infrastructure and security
Rellio serves traffic over HTTPS in production and enforces rate limits on link creation, registration, and password recovery to protect service availability.
